My salon specializes in soft gel, so I do not have acrylic or hard gel compatible bits.
Please be sure to remove the acrylic or hard gel at the salon where you had done or at the salon that can remove them before coming to my salon.
If it is found at the time of your session that is acrylic or hard gel, you will be charged a removal fee of €25.
If you do not know what was used at another salon, please contact me in advance.
Gel removal from my salon
- in 4 weeks : €10
- in 5 weeks: €15
- in 6 weeks: €20
How to count cycles
The day of the session at my salon is counted as day 0.
- 3-4 week cycle: up to 5 weeks 0 day
- 5 week cycle: from 5 weeks 1 day to 6 weeks 0 day
- 6 week cycle: 6 weeks 1 day to 7 weeks 0 day
For example,
【3-4 week cycle】
If the session is on January 5, until February 2
【5 week cycle】
If the session is on January 5, until February 9
【6 week cycle】
If the session is on January 5, until February 16
Due to the high risk of developing Green Nail Syndrome,
removal-inclusive sets or removal-only appointments will not be accepted after 7 weeks and 1 day (e.g. after February 24).
Please have gel removal done at another salon or self-removal before coming to my salon with natural nails.
If you have developed green nail syndrome
In the case of green nail syndrome is developed, the session will not be performed, and as a rule, total removal will be the response.
In such cases,
a removal fee, equipment destruction fee, and cancellation fee will be charged.
For those who wish to have a session for nails other than those with green nail syndrome, it is possible for a set price based on the number of weeks, but there is no discount for the number of nails that cannot be gel applied.
To avoid developing green nail syndrome, please follow my salon's recommended period of time as much as possible.
Price when green nail syndrome develops
- Removal and equipment destruction fee: € 30
- Gel removal from other salons: € 45-55
All removal and equipment destruction fee: € 30
Since it is within my recommended period, I do not charge for cancellation.
All removal, equipment destruction and cancellation fee: € 60
The cancellation fee is included because it exceeds my salon's recommended period.
Self-removal kit for sale
The nail consists of three layers: top plate(dorsal), middle plate(intermediate), and under plate(ventral).
If you forcibly remove the gel yourself by peeling it off, the top plate on the surface will come off with it, thinning the nail and making it look bad.
This is a vicious cycle, as thinner nails are more likely to break, and the next time you get gel nails, they will not last longer.
For this reason, I would recommend gel removal at the nail salon, but
- Those who cannot come within a 3-4 week cycle
- Those who do not have time to come for removal only
- Those who want to save money for removal
For the above clients, I have decided to start selling self-removal kit from January 2024.
